Spoiler alert…more self-analysis…
Many people who have met me since I quit the booze ask my husband and friends if I am any different.
The answer is that my laugh has gone down a couple of decibels, but otherwise the old humourous “pisstaking” self remains in fine fettle.
Yes, I do have friends as well that I met eons ago when suitably plastered and remain so with them now.
It’s these friends that I am so grateful to when they organize for my alcohol removed wine to be served by staff at social venues including an expanding list of restaurants…everyone involved in this process seems to be more comfortable and understanding of my plight and that can only be a good thing.
Once again I can’t stress enough how important it is for the hospitality industry to adopt serving alcohol removed wines…after all there is already a small choice of low-alcohol beers available.
